Heating Pad for Cramps | Dual Thermal
Spring offer 🌸
FREE lubricant with every order in the USA!
A flax-filled pad you warm in the microwave or chill in the freezer, in a Dutch velvet cover that comes off and goes in the machine.
what it is
A 46 × 18 cm insert filled with flax seed and lavender, inside a soft removable cover. Flax holds heat longer than a gel pack, and the same insert goes in the freezer when you want it cold instead.
where it sits
It is long and flexible rather than flat, so it follows the lower abdomen, the lower back, the neck or the shoulders instead of sitting on top of them.
heating
Take the cover off — only the insert goes in the microwave. Heat for one to three minutes with a cup of water standing next to it; the water is what stops the filling drying out. Turn the insert over every 30 seconds and check the temperature as you go. Let it come down to a comfortable temperature before it touches skin.
cooling
One to two hours in the freezer. Insert only, same as heating.
safety — please read
- Never heat the fabric cover. The insert only.
- Do not overheat it. Dry flax can catch fire in a microwave.
- Microwave only — not an oven, not a hob, not an open flame.
- Let it cool completely before reheating, and stand it somewhere non-flammable, such as a sink, while it cools.
- Check it after every use. If you smell burning, or the fabric is worn or split, stop using it.
- Do not sleep with it and do not use it to warm a bed.
- Extreme temperatures can burn. If you have reduced sensation in the area you are treating, or any specific concerns, speak to a qualified healthcare provider first.
